Cristiane Viruel is a fine art and portrait photographer, producer, director based in the North Georgia Mountains and in NYC where her daughter Ingridi Viruel  represents KarisePhoto, together mother and daughter gives life to art with their vision and creativity beyond time .With more than 20 years of experience as the founder and visionary behind KARISE Photo she is known for creating bold, moody, and emotionally charged portraits that reflect the quiet power and beauty of vulnerability.

What began as a personal journey to rediscover her own voice evolved into a calling to help other women do the same.

Today, Cristiane and Ingridi  offer that same experience to the women,  to the man, to the couples  they photograph: a space to feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Their  sessions are more than photo shoots,  they are intimate, empowering rituals rooted in self-love and truth.

Drawing inspiration from natural light, human emotion, and the poetic tension between softness and strength, Karise Photo’s work lives at the intersection of art and soul. Whether they are photographing in the wild, foggy hills of North Georgia or the timeless edges of NYC, or  DC memorials their portraits carry the same thread deep connection, fearless honesty, and feminine spirit.

When she’s not behind the camera, Cristiane spends time in the North Georgia Mountains with her husband, youngest daughter, and their cat, where her main studio is based. There, with a cup of black coffee or sometimes a glass of wine she works on her first book, drawing from the layers of her own story. Her heart remains rooted in sharing real, lived experiences and helping women face the obstacles on their paths with courage, grace, and unapologetic strength. Every image she creates, and every word she writes, is part of her mission to make a difference one woman’s story at a time.
